Here at Horsing Around, swimsuit shopping used to fill us with dread as we conjured up images of wriggling into suits in badly lit change rooms, suits that would invariably pinch and bind, camouflaging our assets and highlighting every imperfection. Paradise Boutique stocks a line of mix and match bathing suits designed by the owners’ mother. The suits are supremely flattering and COMFORTABLE.  We adore the retro styled Liz one piece, which has soft ruching around the waistline to flatter the waist.  The Carmen one-piece has a dramatic plunging halter neckline.  There are also several styles of bikinis, which you can mix and match.  We love the “Grace” high-waisted bottoms, softly gathered to flatter the waist.  All of the styles come in an array of pretty polka dots, prints (love the cherry and floral numbers!) and jewel tones of coral, red and cobalt blue.  This is swimwear you’ll feel good in, and there is a style to flatter every figure type from boyish to zaftig.

This boutique stocks flirty and feminine dresses from less mainstream brands such as Fever London, Bernie Dexter, and Nick and Mo.  Browse dresses and skirts by Paradise’s house designer, Ola Dubois who fashions her creations from reclaimed fabric, making her clothes good for you and the planet.  If you like, complete your ensemble by adding a pretty jewel toned cardigan or a soft denim jacket by Dex.  Accessory fanatics will covet the gorgeous crystal and gemstone rings by Adina Mills (Lena Dunham owns one).  There are stylish sunglasses, drop earrings, belts fashioned from vintage leather, and buttery soft handbags.
