Duffin’s Donuts
Some of the most eclectic 24-hour menu selections in Vancouver. Mexican torta sandwiches, Fritou fried chicken, hamburgers, all-day breakfast, Chinese food, and Vietnamese noodle soup just to name a few (with a clientele as varied as the menu offerings). “Duck and cover” cold war décor with pre-fabricated furniture indestructible enough to survive nuclear Armageddon add to the charm. What more can we say except you might need some Rolaids after a visit to Duffin’s, but who cares when the food is as good and invigorating as these fine offerings.
Pink Bicycle
Pink Bicycle specializes in gourmet burgers, salads and sides, including vegetarian choices. We adore the poutine with rosemary gravy and crispy shallots. If you have a hankering for hamburger, look no further.
The Dutch Bakery and Coffee Shop
Wonderful European style bakery serving cakes and pastries made with love & pride, PLUS a cool old school coffee shop with inexpensive lunch and breakfast specials. A Victoria classic, family owned since 1956.
Big Bad John’s
A combination of deep dive bar, carnival haunted house and an episode of Hee Haw. Take a seat at the burlap-covered stump, enjoy a cold draft and munch on free peanuts. Crazy, cheap, unforgetable. GO!
The Tartan Toque
The Tartan Toque features more than 20 flavours of chicken wings with all sauces & rubs hand made on site. Great burgers & fries, vegeterian options and local brews all served at low, low prices. A “Pete’s Pick”!
